ABOUT MY BLOG AND MY LOVE FOR MUSIC

A few years back a Facebook Group appeared called Talent is Timeless  - a group to encourage and promote songwriters over 50 years of age. It was a supportive band of like-minded souls but as the years went past it got bigger and lost that intimate feel. There was also an Annual Contest. The same thing happened. That first year the songs were relatable but as time went by and the number of entries grew to the thousands that feel was lost.

Now that original group seems to some of us to have lost its soul and the Annual Contest is accepting "songs"  written by Artificial Intelligence. Those of us who queried this decision were effectively silenced so I decided to set up a new group to try and get back to the original feel. The Facebook Group is the main channel but this will be a resource where songwriters in the group can support each other,
